About
I’m Babette, a producer and storyteller with over two decades of experience across television, film, and digital platforms. I began my career at Bunim-Murray Productions, working on MTV’s The Real World and Road Rules, and went on to build a 15-year career in unscripted series, lifestyle programming, and character-driven storytelling.
Over seven years I developed and pitched original formats in reality, competition, lifestyle, pet, and home. I’ve also created branded content formats for companies looking to tell their story through entertainment
I’m also a builder. In 2006 I founded BakeSpace.com, the first food-themed social network. Then TECHmunch, a traveling content creator conference. Most recently BakeBot.ai, the first agentic AI kitchen assistant.

Not every brand film needs a crew. BakeBot.ai needed a Big Game spot that felt nothing like a tech ad, so we built three stories in one. Three neighbors. Three moments where food became the bridge. A destroyed recipe card brought back from memory. A grandmother and granddaughter cooking across a language barrier. A lonely widower and the cocktail recipe that got him back in the room. What’s Pepaj?
Pepaj is pronounced “Pep-eye.” It’s Albanian and it carries fearlessness, independence, and a relentless can-do spirit.
My background reflects that. Albanian roots. Native American heritage (Chippewa/Ojibway). Sicilian and French lineage. Scrappy, bold, tenacious, and endlessly inventive. That’s what I bring to every project.
